Klaus Jürgen Schmidt


	Prof. Dr. Klaus-J. Schmidt, born in 1947, married, one daughter, is the director of Institute for production and logistic systems (IPL), of the FITT and President of the AKJ Automotive. He is responsible for R&D, technology transfer and re- organization and optimization of production, logistics, quality and Research & Development projects. At the University of Applied Sciences of Saarland he is responsible for bachelor and master programs in production economy and informatics. At IPL Prof. Schmidt manages the re-organization and optimization projects with car manufacturers and suppliers. Besides he is active in advisory boards and supervisory boards of different companies of the automobile industry . Prof. Schmidt has studied energy technology, electronics, informatics and business management and before his professorship at University he worked as a development engineer, manager and consultant. zurück...
