Ralf-Peter Idel, is director of logistics at Volkswagen Plant in Dresden. He is responsible for Programming, production control, technical updating services, logistics planning, material disposition and the operating unit.
After training to be an industrial clerk, Ralf-Peter Idel studied manufacturing and controlling at University of Cologne. In different logistics positions at Bosch and Volkswagen he gained widespread practical experience of procurement and logistics. He has foreign deployment in Spain as well as in Brazil.
